About Demi
As a healthcare reimbursement professional, my vision is to redefine the existing, limited definition of health benefits and as a result, drive affordability and access to care, and improve the efficiency and equity of the health system. As an intrapreneur at a Fortune 5 healthcare company, I've reinvented antiquated company processes, charted new strategies, established effective partnerships, and led large-scale organizational change. As an entrepreneur and startup advisor, I've helped disruptive digital health technology start-ups take their businesses to market, rethink their business and revenue models, gain reimbursement for their technologies, and launch pilots with key industry stakeholders. As an adjunct, my goal is to educate the next generation of healthcare leaders so that they may drive the creation of a new, better healthcare system in the United States over time by understanding how other countries have created healthcare systems that are more affordable, accessible, efficient, and equitable.
Nearly three out of four of the Fortune 1,000 have been replaced in the last 10 years. In the next decade, over half the Fortune 500 will no longer exist. Reinvention, innovation, partnerships, and execution are keys to survival in current economic environment. Whether working with large incumbents, or nascent disruptors, my mission is to empower businesses to realize their full potential while simultaneously helping the industry get closer to achieving the Triple Aim (delivering better outcomes, higher quality care, at a lower cost, for all).
