About Pyramid Publishing Services
Pyramid Publishing Services meets authors exactly where they are—whether you’re asking “How do I even begin?” or you’re ready for the finishing touches that bring a manuscript to life.
We are neither a vanity press nor a traditional publishing house. Instead, we provide flexible, professional publishing support tailored to your goals. Our services include expert editing, cover design, interior formatting, and the option to publish under an established imprint for added credibility. For authors who mainly want guidance along the way, we also offer personalized coaching to ensure every step is done right.
Beyond production, we help position your book for success—assisting with title development, Amazon descriptions, and keyword strategy so your book not only looks professional but is also discoverable.
We believe authors should feel confident before making any commitment. That’s why every project begins with a no-cost sample edit or sample format, allowing you to evaluate our quality firsthand.
There is no upfront payment required to get started. Once the scope of work is agreed upon, a 25% milestone payment initiates the project, with additional milestone payments as work progresses. The final payment is made only when your book is complete, polished, and ready for publication—to your full satisfaction.
If you’re looking for a publishing partner that combines professionalism, flexibility, and transparency, Pyramid Publishing Services is here to help you bring your book to life.

Patrick Day holds a B.A. in English from Moorhead State University, an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, and an M.A. in Reading from the University of St. Thomas. He is the author of ten published books and has guided the publication of more than forty titles for other writers.
Before entering publishing full time, Patrick served as Dean of Instruction at a two-year college. Following early retirement, he pursued writing and quickly experienced firsthand the challenges many new authors face—particularly the high costs and uneven quality associated with some self-publishing services. Determined to create a better path, he founded Pyramid Publishing Services to publish his own work. That effort grew organically into supporting other authors, which has become the focus of his work today.
Pyramid Publishing Services operates with a lean, transparent model. Projects are completed both in-house and by a network of experienced, carefully selected independent professionals for design, book critiques, and creative services—engaged on a per-project basis. This structure keeps overhead low while ensuring authors receive high-quality, specialized attention at each stage of the publishing process.
Patrick approaches publishing as both a craft and a calling. His goal is not high-volume production, but meaningful collaboration—helping authors produce books they can be proud of and guiding them through the process with honesty and care. In addition to his publishing work, he has served as a volunteer chaplain, reflecting his longstanding commitment to service and mentorship.
“I entered publishing because I believe in books and the people who write them. My goal is simple: to help authors bring their work into the world professionally, affordably, and with integrity.”
