About Amare
Amare Solomon, Founder and CEO of Safeway Home Healthcare, is passionate about building strong teams and implementing innovative technologies to take his operations to the next level.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a BS in Medical Technology, Amare worked as a medical technologist for 10 years. In 2019, he founded Safeway Home Healthcare, a home healthcare agency in Roseville, Minnesota. Amare is also dedicated to providing mental health services and combating the stigma surrounding mental health, particularly within East African communities. He has done so by adding mental health services to Safeway Home Healthcare.
Amare has worked hard to transform Safeway Home Healthcare into a scalable organization. He has successfully navigated the initial "startup" phase to establish a strong foundation that enables further expansion. Amare is grateful for the professional relationships he has established throughout his career, and he takes the most pride in providing fulfilling work to his employees and providing them with livable wages.
Through managing and guiding Safeway Home Healthcare through various stages of growth, Amare has gained extensive experience and insight as a business owner. His goal is to lead both companies to their fullest potential by establishing a strong foundation and team that follows the clear vision, culture, and values he has created. His ultimate goal is to make these companies self-sufficient while using his business expertise for philanthropy.
