About Rachel
Rachel Banken is the founder and owner of Well Rooted Teas. These organic, loose-leaf herbal teas are crafted here in Minnesota with locally grown + foraged botanicals that honor and celebrate the work of the farmer and Mother Nature. These infusions of herbs, roots, leaves, fruits, and berries nourish the body and are grown and harvested in a manner that supports the health of our environment, and over 80% of the ingredients come from within 200 miles of the Twin Cities.

Well Rooted Teas grew out of a melding of several elements of Rachel's life. An upbringing in a small farming town in Iowa combined with life-long passions for health and the environment, influences of her time in the Peace Corps in Guinea, and her educational and vocational experiences in public health are all foundational elements of her business.
