About Ahmed
Ahmed El Shourbagy is a Co-Founder and CEO with 10 years of experience in ecommerce, direct-to-consumer retail, and entrepreneurship. He founded the popular Instagram account @dogsofinstagram and built it to 4.5 million followers before it was acquired in 2020. He parlayed his success on social media into a national direct-to-consumer pet brand called Lucy & Co. which recently partnered with Petsmart to bring Lucy & Co.'s Reversible Dog Harnesses to thousands of PetSmart stores across the country. Ahmed is known for his expertise in social media marketing and brand building and has been recognized for his contributions to the pet humanization movement. In his free time, Ahmed enjoys traveling, outdoor adventures and spending time with his wife (and business partner), two human children, and furchild, Lucy.
