About Sparkling River
Sparkling River is a lampwork glass art business, specializing in handcrafted beads and sculptural pieces that blend intricate craftsmanship with bold artistic expression. Working with molten glass and a torch, Sparkling River transforms rods of glass into vibrant, one-of-a-kind creations that are both wearable and collectible. Each piece is made entirely by hand, often inspired by organic forms, whimsical motifs, and the natural flow of molten material.
With a deep respect for the tradition of glasswork and a passion for pushing creative boundaries, Sparkling River’s work brings together color, form, and fire to create miniature worlds in glass. Whether it's a detailed focal bead or a sculptural object, every creation is designed to spark connection and curiosity.

About Carole
Prior to launching Sparkling River, Carole worked for over 20 years in non-profit and state government serving our state's most vulnerable populations after proudly receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Child Psychology at the University of Minnesota.

Carole's husband, Wayne, built her glass studio next to his family's 100-year-old home in Northeast Minneapolis where they raised their nationally known artist daughter, Ashley. Today you'll often find her melting glass in her home studio or showing her work at local art and craft events.
