About Monica
Monica Kinny attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources & Environmental Studies. As a Realtor, she has earned the National Association of Realtor’s Green Designation, focusing on issues of energy efficiency and sustainability in the various facets of real estate. She utilizes this passion and knowledge of the environment to educate people when they build, buy, or retrofit a home. Green living is not everyone’s cup of tea, but most can appreciate the associated cost-savings that accompany choosing high efficiency home features and systems. It’s her pleasure to educate people and help them save a few dollars at the same time! Monica loves biking, hiking, cross-country skiing, canoeing & kayaking, bird watching, hanging out with friends and family, and exploring the beautiful state of Minnesota. Born and raised in the Twin Cities, but still finding plenty of new things to do all the time - what a great place to call home!
Steve Kinny is a proud alumnus of the University of Minnesota and North St. Paul High School. After college he worked as a project manager for an environmental monitoring and analytical testing firm. He began his real estate career in 2001 and never looked back. He prides himself on setting high service standards for his customers, and looks forward to helping both buyers and sellers realize their real estate dreams. Steve has earned the National Association of Realtor’s Seniors Real Estate Specialist Designation, gaining the necessary knowledge and expertise to counsel clients age 50+ through major financial and lifestyle transitions in relocating, refinancing, or selling the family home. Steve enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, hiking, camping, reading, attending Gopher sporting events, and woodworking.
We are proud to share that both of our children are also U of M students/alumni! Our son Dylan and our daughter Madelyn are 3rd generation Gophers. Ski-U-Mah!
