About Narayan
Amidst climate change and the distortion of natural resources, Narayan has developed innovative ways to connect with people, particularly farmers, to promote environmental sustainability and achieve zero carbon emissions on their farms. He holds a doctorate in conservation biology. Currently, he works as an independent business consultant, specializing in diverse farm intelligence. Additionally, he is a certified environmental reality leader and an integrated wildlife conservation project manager.
From 2011 to 2013, Narayan developed an interdisciplinary experiential learning pedagogy in collaboration with the University of Minnesota. He is also a skilled Software System Quality Assurance Analyst (SSQAA). He has worked with Nepalese and Bhutanese communities in Minnesota to foster mutual inclusion and diversity in environmental conservation and economic development initiatives.
In a management leadership role, Narayan has been involved in five years of strategic planning focused on integrated conservation and economic development. He has successfully restored more than 15000 acres of degraded forest by mobilizing local communities, ensuring the full inclusion of diverse genders and ethnicities.
Narayan has traveled across Asia and Europe, presenting numerous workshops and seminars on integrated biodiversity conservation and human livelihood development. He has designed and delivered an innovative environmental education curriculum for 50 local schools and mentored over 50 emerging diversity entrepreneurs to help them start small businesses. In addition, he has served on volunteer boards of directors for several non-profit organizations in Minnesota.
