About Redhead Creamery
We feel that to make good cheese you must know good cheese and we know good cheese is an art. Our techniques, our recipes, our environment, and our people are what make our cheeses delicious, unique, and Ridiculously Good. Here at Redhead Creamery we take pride in knowing that each cheese is aged and cared for appropriately for the best possible flavor, texture and appearance.
Alise Sjostrom and her team at Redhead Creamery make award-winning cheese at Jer-Lindy Farms, LLC. The nine-year-old business has been created through guidance from her parents, Jerry and Linda, schooling at the University of Minnesota and Vermont Institute for Artisan Cheese, as well as lessons from many people in the cheese and dairy industry along the way. Redhead Creamery is also beginning whey based spirits (Araga) from the cheesemaking process, which is a project of her husband, Lucas, the fourth partner in the farm businesses. The venture includes a larger tasting room, expanded kitchen and opportunities to expand their offerings. Alise and Lucas have three children and live in the same farm house where she was raised, north of Brooten, Minnesota.
