About Shinesty
You could say that Anna has been sewing since before she could walk; some of her earliest memories are of spending days with her grandmother in her alterations shop in south Florida. She has always wanted to be an apparel designer, but never expected that she would be designing boxers, speedos, or party suits. Anna's career at the U of M pushed the limits of her creativity and gave her opportunities that prepared her to take the startup world by storm. Anna was also a member and president of the University’s Club Synchronized Swimming Team and was able to design and create competition suits for both the University team and local high school teams. Anna has now left Minnesota and returned home to Colorado to work for a local startup, Shinesty.com, but she will always bleed maroon and gold and be a Gopher at heart.
