About Woodchuck USA
Like most good entrepreneurial stories, Ben VandenWymelenberg came up with the idea for WOODCHUCK USA while working on a late-night college finals project. One night while building a model for his University of Minnesota Architecture class, Ben thought it might be interesting to stick a wooden adhesive to his iPhone. This little experiment sparked an idea that would change his life forever.

After Ben graduated Summa Cum Laude a few months later from the College of Design, he declined two full-ride MBA scholarships to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams to launch WOODCHUCK USA in 2012. A few months later, John Guenveur was brought onto the team to provide financial and operational expertise. John graduated from the Carlson School of Management with degrees in both finance and supply chain & operations management. Currently, Ben is the owner of WOODCHUCK USA.

WOODCHUCK USA now markets over 250 unique wood products, all of which are designed and manufactured in our Northeast Minneapolis warehouse. WOODCHUCK USA is driven by its powerful mission to, “Put nature back into people’s lives and bring jobs back to America”.
