About Louis
Finest Touch’s history begins on the Midway streets of St. Paul in 2013. Louis Adams’ father worked at Furnish 123 as a salesman. Many furniture customers assume they will be leaving the same day with the product they just purchased. That is not the case. Hence the beginning of a father-son business.
In the early years, Louis was the Delivery Expert who focused on helping customers receive their furniture within 72 hours of purchase, which helped save sales and build trust.
As the business grew, Louis decided to branch out and focus on building something of his own. On December 12, 2019, Finest Touch was born. At the time, he had no active contracts and little name recognition.
Earlier that year, Louis completed a delivery for a customer through a new furniture partner, La-Z-Boy. That connection led to a conversation about future opportunities. While nothing came from it right away, things changed quickly. The day after Christmas in 2019, Louis received an email offering him a contract for multiple truck routes with Wayfair. With the shift toward online shopping already beginning, this opportunity came at the perfect time and it changed Finest Touch forever!
During the first year of the pandemic, the company operated between 2–6 dock trucks, delivering furniture across the region. This created steady income opportunities for workers and helped support families during a difficult time. It also allowed Louis to expand and build new lines of business.
Finest Touch became a transportation, landscaping and property preservation company that connects individuals from underserved communities with real pathways to skilled employment.
Currently, the company is the preferred third-party delivery company that over 26 furniture stores in Minnesota partner with.
