About Scott
Scott Prescott recently began his 33rd year as a music educator. He has taught elementary, middle school, and high school bands in Minnesota, Iowa, and Michigan, and has worked as a graduate assistant helping music education majors and observing student teachers. He holds degrees in music education from the University of Minnesota (BS 1990) and the University of Michigan (MM 2000) and was named Teacher of the Year by the Minnesota Middle School Association in 2009. Mr. Prescott teaches band (and tells dad jokes) at Pioneer Ridge Middle School in Chaska, Minnesota and assists with the Chanhassen High School marching band. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife and two sons.
