About Dear T.L., A Love Story of the American Revolution
It is the true story of American heroes, Christians, during the Revolutionary War as told through their love story. The novel is based on the actual war diaries of Lt. Samuel Benjamin who became one of America’s original elite soldiers. Lt. Benjamin was first a Minuteman at Lexington and Concord and later fought in some of the era’s most famous battles. He became a soldier in the Light Infantry eventually fighting under the command of Alexander Hamilton at the Siege of Yorktown.

Readers will see images of Lt. Benjamin’s diaries as well as other military records. Samuel and his sweetheart, Tabitha Livermore, weren’t rich or connected. Tabitha was from an abolitionist town. They were average colonists who risked their lives for the ideal of liberty and freedom of religion driven by their faith.
